Steven Canada Receives Per Mar’s Security Officer of the Year Award

DAVENPORT, Iowa – Per Mar Security Services, a leading provider of total security solutions for residential and commercial clients based in Davenport, IA, named Steven Canada the 2018 Security Officer of the Year. The Security Officer of the Year award recognizes an individual who demonstrates superior performance throughout the year.

Officer Canada has consistently been an attentive and thorough Security Officer, and on the night of November 22, 2018, he went above and beyond to keep a client’s campus secure. While patrolling, Officer Canada witnessed three individuals checking multiple vehicle door handles. He immediately reported the suspicious activity to the police. The police quickly responded, and Officer Canada assisted with the investigation. The investigation led to the capture of three individuals who were attempting to break into students’ vehicles.

Brad Duffy, President of the Security Officer Division, presented the award to Officer Canada saying, “Officer Canada has displayed and demonstrated Per Mar values in his work in particular in going above and beyond to prevent vehicle theft and keep our client’s campus secure. We are very thankful for his effort and quick thinking.”
