Lead(h)er Summer Social Event at Per Mar Security in Davenport, Iowa

DAVENPORT, Iowa – Per Mar Security Services will be hosting and sponsoring the Lead(h)er’s Summer Social, Tanks & Teas, on June 6, 2023, from 5 pm to 7 pm at Per Mar Security’s headquarters, located at 1910 East Kimberly Road, Davenport, IA.

Attendees can network with other women in the community and also learn about the Lead(h)er Strike a Match Mentoring Program, which is an 18-month, volunteer-based program that equips Quad Cities working women with tools to achieve their personal and professional goals. This is a free program due to the generosity of donors. The event will be held outside at Per Mar Security’s headquarters. Enjoy a game of bags, tye-dye a new summer tank top, and mingle with other Quad Cities Area professionals. Bubble’s Boba Tea and QC Fork in the Road food truck will be onsite for food and drink purchases as well.

Karla Pitzen, Per Mar’s Human Resources Manager, a mentor in the organization, said, “I became involved with Lead(h)er a couple years ago because of my passion for mentorship. I love the local community aspect of the organization and Lead(h)er’s goal of equipping women with tools to achieve their personal and professional goals. Per Mar believes in supporting the communities we serve, so this seemed like a perfect pairing.”
