Michael Duffy Inducted into Security Sales & Integration Hall of Fame

Per Mar Security Services is proud to announce that President, Michael Duffy, was inducted into the 2013 Security Sales & Integration Hall of Fame. Duffy has had an incredible impact on Per Mar Security and the security industry. He has lead one of the industry’s most successful independent security companies, and has dedicated much time and effort to the industry and community causes.  Duffy held many positions in Per Mar before becoming president in 1977. Since that time he has overseen more than 60 security company acquisitions, and the company has seen incredible growth. Per Mar operates in six states including Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Nebraska, and Minnesota. The company was named an SSI Installer of the Year in 2012. Duffy is founder/director of the Per Mar Guard Training Academy, a training facility for guard instruction approved by Illinois’ Department of Registration, and has conducted crime conferences for the U.S. Small Business Administration throughout Iowa, lectured at colleges, and is active in many security associations and organizations.

Giving back to the community is important to Duffy. He is currently involved with the Buoniconti Fund, an organization that was created to help cure paralysis; Quad City Cultural Trusts; and Assumption High School Long Range Planning Committee. Through the years, he has been involved in a number of charitable endeavors, chairing fund drives and serving on boards of not-for-profits, including a high school and a university. Per Mar also has a committee, led by his daughter, to ensure the company is helping all of the communities it serves.
